During the field trip to Berlin (November 22–24, 2024), we visited the studios eps51 and bookbook, the Museum of Letters, as well as artbook.berlin. At the fair, we presented student work from the graphic workshops at our own stand and engaged in conversations with visitors.
We explored current works by book artists, illustrators, book designers, and small publishers, and attended an exciting program of talks and lectures.
Throughout the trip, we kept a journal—photographing, sketching, and writing—to later create a small series of Pants Books back in Essen, reflecting on the experience. These were printed in a limited edition using screen printing and risography.
