To mark the beginning of the new semester, students, faculty, and staff of the Department of Design came together to look ahead at the months to come. In a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the gathering offered an opportunity for exchange, networking, and collective reflection on the future of the department.
After a warm welcome from our Dean, Prof. Stefan Neudecker, two new faces joined the team: Stefan Guzy, who will enrich the department as Guest Professor for Visual Identities, and Dr. Kim Albrecht, the newly appointed Professor of Information Design. Both offered exciting insights into their work and shared their plans for teaching and research.
Another key part of the event was a participatory workshop focused on the development of the department. Students and faculty were invited to share their ideas, suggestions, and critiques – a valuable contribution to shaping our academic environment together.
